hey all, just a quick question. how can i change the sensor scales in sensor linearisation y scale?
ie: i have a 5 bar guage sensor i want to use for crank case pressure, (i know its a big sensor for that, but had it around) how can i change the scale on the left? it wont let me edit the max pressure value.
cheers.

For ccp you cant/dont:
In your case using an incorrect sensor you will have to do something like this.
Still works as illustrated, though there are very real limitations around temp drift (sensor specific) accuracy, and the ECU AD conversion that highlight these issues, which is why you should really use the right sensor for the application ;) but we all have just thrown on what is around (get it back up and running) or got customers with incorrect ones installed all over the place.

Your curve using a SSI 5 bar Gauge sensor would be like below.

If you ever have 5 bar in the crankcase...I'd be worried. If you ever have 2 bar in the crankcase...I'd be equally worried.

And when you say gauge sensor....is this a sensor that offers positive pressure only, or also vacuum ?

You need both for crankcase really, and if running a dry sump you absolutely need to be able to read vacuum, as hopefully you'd have some in there.

So just calibrate to the scales that are there for whatever voltages you see.

Or just find a cheap MAP sensor off something and use it. Get a Mityvac or similar device and manually calibrate it.

ok cool, yes i understand now. i figured so.

also, with regards to the scales, how do i change the voltage numbers. ie: i want to put in 0.50v and 4.5v. and then interpolate. also i found when setting up the dbw tps voltage, it would be nice to be able to input the exact voltage to get the 0% spot on. ive had to put in unusual numbers in the 0-5% etc etc. to get the readings even between the 2 throttles..
i can select "edit-breakpoints-change sensor voltages but its greyed out.
cheers.
