I've read that DBW throttles can be slow (though also read that is somewhat dependant on how they're driven) but what about AVCS? Is it slow to swing timing any appreciable amount given the transients seen in rallying with close ratios and lots of on/off throttle? I know most use it (interesting RCM don't) but weighing up whether to keep it on a new clubman gpA a car where I can run whatever cams I want.
