S6 Pnp the same as GP
S6 Pnp the same as GP
Is a subaru pnp ecu exact the same as a GP? Only the connectors are different to connect to the ecu? Do they have the same amount of inputs and outputs? If so, you can make it work on any other car with a loom adapter?
Re: S6 Pnp the same as GP
It uses the same control board internally. So if you have a PnP from any model, you can buy a new base board for a different PnP application, or you can buy a GP base board and case. However for EVO 4-7 (& 260) you are much better off with a PnP board as it has lots of additional functionality external to the control board.
Re: S6 Pnp the same as GP
And what about a evo ix? I don't see a pnp listed for the ix.
Re: S6 Pnp the same as GP
Evo IX still uses a loom adapter, unless Pat's been quietly busy
Current loom adapters have an Aux connector with as much spare I/O brought out as possible, along with a comms connector for CAN and RS232, an EGT connector, and a connector for a PnP-style wideband cable. Much improved on older versions....although I say it myself LOL
