iPhone Syvecs Display / Monitor

Hey All,
I am just wondering if anyone would be interested in a Syvecs iPhone display / monitor, it turns out that the iPhone is more than capable of serial comms so we could maybe interface with the Syvecs serial data stream. I did some work on a similar tool for the AEM a while back

I am using linux based Palm Webos but I would buy a Iphone for that =)

Wez, can you please make this iPad compatible too? I've got an iPhone 4 and an iPad - I could use 'em both!

There appears to be more than one way to achieve this, one requires the iPhone to be jail broken and the other requires an approved serial adapter, I am in the process of trying to obtain an approved serial adapter but the supplier isn't playing ball at the moment

Would buying a couple make it more attractive? I'd take one to hardwire into the Supra
