S7Plus vs S8
Hi everyone, I’m currently trying to decide between two Syvecs ECU options and would really appreciate some advice from those with experience. I’m considering the Syvecs S7Plus, which seems to offer a solid balance of performance, features, and cost with good community support, and the Syvecs S8, which provides more processing power, greater I/O flexibility, and better support for complex or future upgrades. My setup is performance-focused, but I’m unsure whether the extra capability of the S8 is necessary for my needs or if the S7Plus would already be more than enough. If you’ve used either of these units, I’d be grateful to hear your thoughts on reliability, tuning experience Geometry Dash, and which one you’d recommend in real-world use.

Re: S7Plus vs S8
What is the application ?
Software is same for each.
CAN is more flexible on the S8 so if you need CAN devices or may want to add an expander, that could be a consideration.
S7 setup/comms/CAN seems to offer easier integration with factory cars that have multiple modules that need talking to and kept happy.
S7 has a nicer connector, S8's big connector is horrible to work with. But hopefully once done, should never need altered.
S8 has a few extra inputs.
I've 2 of my own cars on S8 + X10 expanders + dash/GPS
