2022 Audi RS3 torque issue

Post by gctech »

Hello ,
I'm having a torque situation I cant figure it out always happens at 5000rpm on wot with loads above 2600mBar i increase MTB torque but does not work I have done a few other RS3 older models no issues , note this car still have the factory DSG Calibration on the dyno this issue only happens above 720nm is there a way to see if the DSG is the responsible for the torque limit? or maybe im just doing something wrong. :?
I attached files bellow dyno log 4th gear and calibration

Thank you

I don't know exactly if there's caveats to the RS3 8Y (older models had some caveats around double torque reporting, etc.), but there are a couple of issues

1. You're using Alternate Torque estimation, so the MBT Torque Estimate map is not being used at all. You either turn that off or change the Thermal Efficiency Estimate and/or Fuel Consumption Scaling maps.

2. Torque you report to the gearbox (engTrqEstOutput) never goes over 450Nm, because you have Torque Estimation and Limitation -> Clamp engTrqEstMbt at engTrqEstFriction set at 450Nm.

3. Once the TCU detects the clutch slip at 5000 RPM, it asks for reduced torque. You can see that through the engTrqLim value in the logs.
