I've had a quick look on SCal
Still not sure what I'm looking for but came across this
TPS
Slot 4 Frame 5 tps1(S) convert using y=(x/81.92)+0 to units in the range 0..100
RPM
Slot 1 Frame 1 rpm(S) covernt using y=(1*x)+0 to engineering units in the range 0..10000
Any of that information what I would need to configure the VBox??

If you arent conversant with this stuff, it wont be easy ( and I am not )
But within the menus on both VBox and SCal, you're heading the right direction. The relevant data will need input here. Unfortunately loading some of the reference files for say Pectel, doesnt actually show you the config they used so it doesnt help unless you can find how the Pectel is configured. And they only give about 3-4 channels.
SCals settings are all within this area
And actual content is in the frame content selection from the above menu.
What might be a little more helpful, is the CAN config Plex Tuning use for their SDM dash displays etc. Here is the first item RPM and how it is configured, it shows more data but they will all follow a similar pattern.
If you download their software you can view their setup etc which might help. I did download the VBox software and it doesnt seem to offer any help whatsoever.

Re: Connecting Vbox video data logger, CAN settings
I quickly edited the screenshot Stevie posted with the correct values, based on what you reported from SCal. It should give you an idea of how to get the values you want from SCal into the vbox software.
Scale is a multiplier, so if SCal reports x/81.92, the vbox software wants x * 0.01220703125, which is equivalent.
