Dash Question: to Syvecs S8

I hope on the test page we can change the speed increments freely?
This would be ideal for us professional testers who use VBOT Tools software and hardware.

I like doing my own specific test 90-140kmh in 3rd gear for example.

This dash solution is perfect, the demand will be great and I am sure they will sell many more ECU cause of it, I have 3 people who will buy it now cause of this alone

Also in my experience of using lots of these color dashs, its mandatory to have ability to do BLACK on WHITE color scheme. I hope PLEX have that option on setting up the dash, the black background simply does not work in sun light on any dash I have used be that Cosworth ICD or new Motec color dash's.

Of a side note, I liked also the old firmware where you could select the theme for using Sview and Scal where you could pic the black on white (IE Life Racing) as its much more usable in the field, as you simply have no hope looking at data with high ambient light on a lap top screen regardless of how good it is, same for these dashs I find.

What is the latest on the PLEX SDM-500
I have herd it has a few glitches that need sorting out.

My D5 display unit steering wheel insert to also take my own rotary switches.

Have you seen / used / critiqued the AIM MXS Strada at all? Looks pretty good for the money from what I see?

I do notice in its configuration software that the "Syvecs" pre config'd data stream is just the Stack stream, however, I have also noticed that it has a more functional config for the life F88. If I were to set up my S6 with the F88's addresses, could I use this config do you think / know?

No mate I have not. I've got one D5 pro that is going to be on a S6PLUS (R34GTR), I used one of my F88 templates as a basis for that. Once done I'll update if you like.

I only use the LR dash units, mostly cause the cars I run them in utilize the pro 'unlimited' USB logging feature (data handling/analysis with SVIEW is like in the ECU itself. perfect), so its common to have over 350 data channels at higher detail sample rates. I also use extensive math features to make the dash more useful so the driver is warned and see's pages automatically as parameters get higher up in priority. My own experience of dash units in a car that is fast is you don't have time to 'look at shit', so that auto page change feature + warning set up levels as well as ability to utilize graphical bars combined with numerical values are what is important. I don't know of anyone who can properly identify through pages of text only what is happening at a quick glance, where as a set up like I utilize once the user is trained its simple to ID the colors and graph positions with general normal operating conditions, then if ever he/they get a chance they can see the exact value to the side, and finally if its all going south a screen overlay in varying stages requiring a button press to clear or return to normal of the parameter causing the alarm condition trigger is the ultimate feature of what a dash should be able to do.

For the LR dash its what you make it, the time I put in it to develop software fully is the difference, same can be said of the ECU's as well
