Ryan - how do I get my hands on a syvecs meth controller asap. All the tank, pump and solenoids are installed on my 991 turbo. Was about to install another controller this weekend until I heard the news.

Some features I think would be useful for people on PNP kits (maybe some are even available already, just not aware).

1. PNP Syvecs kits have CAN1 locked (and CAN2 will be taken if you run an I/O expander, and CAN3 is not configured out of the box), but as you know you can use KT8 and GPS on CAN1 regardless by just T-ing into it. It would be nice to have this working with the WMI, so that the ECU could read pressure/flow/etc. on CAN1 and have custom strategies/safeties based on this, other than just a torque reduction (does this even work on PNP kits on CAN1?).

2. Have a ECU CAL to WMI CAL mapping in a setup like above, so that you can only activate WMI on a specific ECU calibration, for example no WMI on CAL 1, but activate Duty Table 1 WMI on engine CAL2, since the current ECU cal (calSelect) is communicated on the CAN.

I've ordered mine already, and can't wait to start playing with it

Huge shootout to riceracing for helping me get one of these ordered.

Couple of questions.

Took a quick look at my pump and it is 11amps. It’s not clear if that is continuous or peak and as such I’m not clear if that requires two outputs or a single one. It looks like most of the sureflow pumps are in the 11-13amp range.

Second next question is flow sensor. Any recommendations on a good one the syvecs and 1800cc of flow?

Pump current at any given time will depend on pressure it is generating for the most part.
Work it harder, it will draw more current.

I did scope mine a while back, but pretty sure it was fairly low. That said, given what I am trying to flow, pump would max at around 150psi.
Will check logs later when I'm home.

Don't believe all these 200psi etc claims unless you're running very small nozzles.
I pwm a small 15A rated SSR and it seems fine.
Although there are bigger pumps out there.

I assume syvecs have incorporated flyback protection within their controller so a pump can be run directly Peter ?
I know I tested my SSR with and without and things were happier with it.

Great points agree with all of them, especially the pressures 'claimed'. I think I am on the extreme end (read mental!) of flows in use, and pressures are nothing like what is on the packet! I always measure pressure nearer the end of the discharge nozzles.

Flyback diode is something I personally always use, but a couple who are running the WMI controller run without them fitted.

There is a happy spot for Hz drive rate of the pumps too, but I hazard a guess that not everyone is like me and Stevie and test this to the same extent

Any recommendations on a flow sensor. I’ve been researching and currently haven’t found anything that looks perfect
