Colours in table

Can we change the colours? When I make a change in a table it gets the colour darkblue or some other blue, this is really hard to read in daylight when mapping on the road.

For day time work you really need a white theme like old version of the software allowed, I *think* this will be changed so you will have the option
p.s. me personally I cant work with the black screen theme too hard on my eyes, and useless in outdoors environments, same for dash displays as well.

Turn off Delta Hotspots, then the changes will not affect the colour of the map, it just stays green

You may the think "oh, but which cells have changed?"... if you're used to using SCal (read: don't ever use the mouse) the a quick O-D will flip to Delta view and you will see which cells have changed. Another quick O-D and they are back to where they should be. Or of course you could briefly switch to delta hotspots and back again.....

You're right that a choice would be sensible, even if we disagree about its utility.

The use of light text on a dark background is to reduce eye fatigue... it's why most programmers that spend any serious time in front of a monitor would choose green on black If you can't see your screen in bright sunlight then your backlight isn't powerful enough. Anything over 300 nits should be just fine

Hi Pat,

Some days with hectic workload its been 12 hours straight with the white back ground and zero eye strain/headaches not trying to convince others here, just saying for me personally it was the biggest reason why I did not go with Syvecs cause I could not use the software once they dropped the option of using the white back ground due to eye strain and outdoors lack of compatibility.

Having the option back again like in the old days, would be great for the 'odd' person like me

p.s. For outdoors use, I am not sure that in the UK region you can say you have 'real' sunlight maybe for 3 days a year? when its not cloudy/raining etc
