S8C Default Calibrations

Post by pat »

This thread is for tracking the default calibrations for the Syvecs S8C ECUs. When a new release of S8C Firmware is available, the associated default calibration will be added to the end of this thread.

zentac,

This section is probably superfluous now. In the past you had to connect to an ECU of the desired firmware version, for SCal then to pull the profile down from it. Obviosly if you didn't have an ECU with that firware version on it, you couldn't build a default calibration. That has changed though, and you can now download the firmware update file, run it - even if there is no ECU - and it will install the profile for that firmware version. What this means is that if you wanted to build a cal for (say) 1.460 then you'de download 1.460 from the downloads page, run it, and then you would be able, in SCal, to do File -> New and it will allow you to choose S8 1.460.

Hope this helps,

Pat.
