Hello Wez / syvecs software development dept.

Have there been any developments since August on the syvecs Android app front?

Also, is it possible to run a windows emmulation program on an Android OS and thereby run any of the SS suite? (the answer will probably be no but its worth asking)

And finally, for the severely financially challenged / those with nothing better to do..... has anyone considered a raspberry pi with linux running a windoze VM, hardwired via an ethernet adaptor, or do memory/cpu restrictions of a Pi consign this idea to the very foolish category? (intended use primarily to run Smon but with keyboard access for SS suite interaction)

Cheers

Ralph

There has been lots of development work going on with both Android and iOS as ive been working to build a common platform for all devices.

The Raspberry Pi uses an arm processor and therefore a windows VM wouldnt work, its also lacking in memory. The Raspberry Pi is a great unit though and I have one that I use for various development projects, it could quite easily interface with CAN or serial though ;)

Quiet in this thread but there will be huge demand for this and make the product more desirable.

Hi, I just signed up to add my support for an Android app.
I saw a demo of the system at Autosport 2013 and it would be great for our race car.
Please keep us updated on progress, is there a possibility of the app being finished for the start of the racing season?

Hello and welcome,

The Android version is progressing well, lots of work is being done on the user interface all of which we will be incorporating into the iOS release also, there was also some great feedback from Autosport with feature ideas / requests that we are building into the release.

Is the Android App available yet, if so which App store, I had a quick look on google play and couldn't find it?

Also which Android os will the App work on?? (I'm up grading my phone and want to ensure the Android App will run ok)

or should I get an I5 phone and abandon hope of an android option?
