If the lean spike does not correspond with a relevant change in injector pulse, or more air going into the engine, maybe it is a misfire ?
Presumably the engine does run ok ? or was the lean spike actually felt too ?

Re: AFRs swinging at light load in CLL.
Without units or scalings etc...it's impossible to see what is happening on a screenshot. IMO look for the time difference between fuelfinal changing substantially, the a corresponding change in what is seen at the lambda sensor and that should give some sort of starting point for that load site or ...

Dont quite follow what you mean ? SCal by nature includes absolutely everythingHugh wrote: For instance, can you tell me why there is not a full list of what the ECU parameters monitor in SCal? I have requested this several times from support and have been ignored.

Re: Idle controll (2 wire TBV)
Can anyone tell me how I am able to disable closed loop control for tbv based idle control? - I'd imagined I 'd set 'Enable Vehicle Speed' to zero and as there wouldn't be a <0 speed closed loop would never be initiated. However - closed loop does still appear to be there at least for a while after...

Re: Unable to edit sensor linearization breakpoints
I don think you can edit the breakpoints.
But in most cases they should be a sensible scale that they shouldnt really need changing ?
What do you need to alter ?

Re: Power up issue
Makes sense, you need to alter any logging configs etc after the firmware change.dr_jones wrote:Oh - I need to read further - the first two parts appear to be only related to backing up prior to updating.
But the firmware program/file just does the job itself, without any other software required.

Re: Power up issue
Trace B7/13/19 then and see what actual ecu pins they go to on the vehicle side.
Likewise A1.
And presumably there is a map in the ecu that will actually control the main relay to allow it to power up in the first place ? Bit of chicken and egg there maybe ?

Re: Power up issue
Can you post what numbering system or schematic you're referencing to ? As some of the pin numbers seem strange from references I have. eg ( TT but essentially the same minus the TT stuff ) http://reuben.xpjets.com/random/97-98ecu-pinout.pdf http://www.syvecs.com/downloads/Pinouts/Subaru%20MY97-98%2...
