Re: Launch Control Settings
I tried using the clutch switch as a gear cut trigger using the function new to 1.84 and it doesn't work. I logged this as a problem last year, but forgot i had tried it already when trying something else. So if i want to use the clutch to trigger the launch timer using the stage tables, i currently...

Re: Launch Control Settings
Thanks Ryan, that makes a lot of sense now. It looks like using the clutch switch to trigger the launch timer when coming out of STAGE will get around the problem i have with the JDM speed converter signal lag, which would be a big step forward in control. Add in the different tables for off load wh...

Re: Launch Control Settings
Hi Paul (and Tim) Thanks for the update. I'm always trying to learn with the syvecs setup and the video i watched didn't make any sense on that one point. I've updated my firmware a while ago, been running 1.84 for some time, but not done anything much with the launch since i finished competing in 2...

Re: Launch Control Settings
That's how i understand it and how the help tab is SCal explains it, so Ryans help video is wrong, or he is explaining a function that is triggered by something else not covered in the video. Reading previous topics on launch, they all say the timer starts on the speed being exceeded. Prior to the s...

Launch Control Settings
I have just been watching the Syvecs Help video (which are all very helpful) for launch control setup and something doesn't make sense based on how my launch was setup. My setup uses the following: launch ramp mode = hold timer stage parameters = not used, just uses main tables for control exit spee...

Solder link documentation
Is there any documentation for what solder links are available on the S6 PNP for the various versions of the PNP boards?
Thanks
John
Thanks

Pinout confirmation for FUEL7 and FUEL8
Does anyone have the active pin number used on the OEM connector plugs for the TGV header derived outputs? The documentation mentions the TGV header pin numbers, but not what they correspond to on the OEM connectors. the TGV header is listed as Pin 1 - PWRGND Pin 2 - TGV Left Hand Open Pin 3 - TGV L...

Re: idle control behaviour
Thanks for the reply. It's the stock idle control valve on a drive by cable MY05 Subaru, which is just an air bypass.Hugh wrote:John,
You don't say which idle control - bypass or DBW that you are using.

Re: idle control behaviour
John, your load reference is map1 not tps or iscv position. So the change in idle valve position is seen as a shift in map value. Unless that's not what you were meaning? Good point Andy. Would having a more cracked open idle control valve not have some impact though? It's similar to installing a l...

idle control behaviour
With the weather being very hot recently, i thought i would have a play with improving the idle control to compensate for having the Air Con switched on and higher than normal ACT which affects idle stability. I had no idle duty added for when the Air Con is switched on and no ACT based idle duty ad...
