Tim,
While cleaning up the car I finally noticed the "black box" you were talking about. I kept fiddling with the one for the CAN.
Opened it up and saw a row of terminal block and as you've guessed, it's loose. Tightened them up and everything is good to go again.
But we'll be logging calibrating ...

Re: Strange problem with Throttle Body
I doubt is a cal problem because the car have been running wonderfully on this cal for 2 yrs.
The whole strange issue started about 1 mth ago.
We opened up the small box, no wires are loose, but I thought on my PNP kit it's for CAN BUS?
We also opened up the S6 itself and realised it is all PCB ...

Strange problem with Throttle Body
2008 GR STi. Syvecs S6 PnP.
Recently, at random ocassions (usually just after start up), the throttle body will not respond to pedal input. I need to switch the engine off. Wait a few mins to a few hours and then everything will work again.
However, yesterday, suddenly the throttle body does not ...

Not sure what you meant by stability control and not sure if I'm qualified to answer as I'm just a user....
So far for my experience....
VDC = OK
DCCD = OK
Hill Assist = Not sure

Re: SData Stream on S6
I just realised the notebook I had is still running on Vista, and not Windows 7. Email sent.

SData Stream on S6
I just updated the firmware to 1.50 and SData is 2.13.36.
I tried to stream the data but every time I click save, some error occurs and SData crashed.
Am running on Windows 7.
Can anyone advise?

Re: Cruise control for Subaru Hatch S6GP PnP
I got the cruise control working. Did it by wiring an opto isolater to the brake switch and using the +5V input. So at least now the cruise cuts out in a more controlled manner.
Had to figure out the brake pressure sensor maximum/minimum V limits and it's propose.

Re: Cruise control for Subaru Hatch S6GP PnP
Ah, I just tried that. Now it works. I feel so stupid. Thank you Pavlo Sir.
For the record, I need to do similar for LonG.
But unfortunately, I can't say cruise control works. Well, it works, but the Bpf numbers that supposedly came in via the CANBus are crazy and unstable.

Re: Cruise control for Subaru Hatch S6GP PnP
I've tried again this morning.
BPF set to 5 Hz. The readings don't make sense to me. It shows 7 bar while I'm going at 60km/h on the road. That surely cannot be the case?
I've also set the Cruise Control threshold to -2.000 and -1.002, the cruiseDisableCause is still Lateral Acceleration.
Something ...

Re: Cruise control for Subaru Hatch S6GP PnP
Hi Pavlo,
I just tried what you advised:
No sensors in IO config for wheel speeds and brake pressure.
No ABS lights on the car, but ever since Syvecs was installed I noticed that the hill hold assist doesn't work anymore and frankly I don't miss it.
I brought up the gauges for bpf, bpr, and the ...
