Re: Supra loom adapter 4 way connector

Thanks very much Tim, that does help a lot. It explains why the fault is intermittent as its the expander connector which is just underneath my ecu cover.

If I need to change some pins on the expander connector, I assume you sell them or are they a standard pin?

Thanks again Tim, much appreciated.

Re: Supra loom adapter 4 way connector

Hi Tim, thanks for your reply. I may have the wrong ecu but it is an S6 with an io expander and it is one of your loom adapters I purchased through SRD back in 2014/ 2016. I also have a small laminated card that came with the adapter that specifically mentions a 12 way connector and 4 way for paddle...

Supra loom adapter 4 way connector

Hi all, I have a problem with my paddle shift on mkiv Supra. I am trying to work out which pins on the S6GP are connected to the 4 way connector as I believe there is a connection problem to the S6. My paddle shift works when a passenger presses down on my ecu cover, I have already cut out the 4 way...

Re: S6GP ethernet to Windows 10 laptop

Thanks for the reply, my problem may be related to not having a 12v switched ignition feed to the ecu! Once I get this sorted I'll try again.

S6GP ethernet to Windows 10 laptop

Hi all, I have installed the latest version of the software onto my Dell inspiron 15 7000 with windows 10 and cannot connect to the ecu. I have changed the settings for the ethernet port to not sleep but still no luck. Everytime time I search for the ecu in Scal it just says no devices found. No ide...

Spare injector output to switch cooling fans

Hi all, is it ok to use Injector 8 output to switch twin rad cooling fans through 2 relays. I don't have any spare PWM outputs left on my S6.
Can the injector ouputs be programmed to monitor the coolant temperature?

Re: Switched battery feed

Thanks Pat,
I found a VBAT 12V feed from pin 21 for the fuel pump relay and used that instead, I have two separate relays for my pumps so this one is not needed. :)

Switched battery feed

Hi all, I am trying to workout how to connect a 12 volt ignition switched power feed to 2 analogue/digital converters for the abs sensors and an EGT sensor amplifier. All these are very low power consumption. I assumed I could tap into the S6 Vbatt on pins 19-21 but not sure how these are connected ...

Re: Wiring ABS sensors for traction control

Hi Tim, thanks for your help. No need to send a terminal, I have loads of them as I have a spare S6 connector that I got with the ECU. Are they easy to remove like the Toyota ECU terminals with a very screwdriver? What did you use to seal the terminals on the back of the S6 connector? Looks like hot...
