Re: EVO8 No RPM Reading
I have another Sync log while cranking. Crank/cam type is Mitsubishi EVO Crank/Cam all stock oem sensors. I tried enabling Manual cam checklist but still no rpm reading. Attached is the map i am using. The same map on another Evo starts ok. I only have Turn>0 This is a heavily tuned engine so cam ph...

EVO8 No RPM Reading
Hi guys, just fitted an S6 plus to an Evo8 and I have no RPM reading. This is not the first one i have fitted on an EVO8 and never had this issue. Used usual map to start, etc. Trace on both Crank and Cam look good. Tried changing voltage limits during cranking but still no RPM. During cranking i ha...

Re: Lambda reading issue
Thanks for help. I have cut the yellow wire and tried with several resistors in series but without success......i used from 5ohm to 15,000ohms voltage did not drop much even with the 15,000 ohm but what i noticed was the lambda reading came very very slow. I rechecked all the wiring and looks perfec...

Lambda reading issue
Hi guys, today i have finished the drag car and i noticed that on the dyno when i apply throttle the Lambda reading goes up to 2.46 even upto 4.6 as well. In idling the lambda works fine. I have fitted an external wideband and mixture is spot on when i apply throttle. Now this car has worked perfect...

Re: Subaru Crank/Cam type
Thanks for the Link, yes that is something similar we did to fit the sensor. I tried playing with the position but won`t sync to 720 on G11 alone. Now i tried to use Manual Cam checklist and I have the Cam raw data at 463.50 463.75 464.00 and 646.50 646.75 647 and i subtract 360 from the middle one....

Re: Subaru Crank/Cam type
This engine is a fully forged EJ257 engine on a widened GC8 but running without AVCS and has instead vernier pulleys installed. So its a 2005 model engine but with changed cams etc and made cam timing not adjustable. The crank and cam sensors are all stock VR sensors but the camshaft sensor on these...

Re: Subaru Crank/Cam type
Ok so i got it to start and idling.
Had to keep reducing voltages at low rpm as with sparkplugs inn the voltages got worse.
Used TTL output on 5V
Voltages of crank and cam much better while idling.
The issue is now that it is not going to 720...it stays on 360
Thanks for help

Re: Subaru Crank/Cam type
Finally i managed to pick a SyncLog....on cranking i have Long tooth gap The voltage on the Cam sensor looks really weak on cranking!! so i reduced the high/low voltages Rpm is reading now I moved minimun speed to Sync 720 to 5000rpm but still no spark output For the Okada Plasma coil on plugs the r...
