Re: Frequency inputs
Ah got you. Thought it was the ecu that did the heavy lifting r.e. signal conversion so expected the raw voltage to still be visible. Makes sense now.

Re: Frequency inputs
Ah, so it is normal for the raw voltage data to drop to zero once the sensor is assigned as a frequency sensor rather than a generic 5v? So I just need to look at different channels when setting it up? Will give it a go. Had assumed that the voltage signal would remain alongside the derived frequenc...

Frequency inputs
Trying to wire in wheelspeed sensors on to the x10- when I leave the connected sensors unassigned then voltage output is as I would expect when I spin the wheel (I.e. the sensor is registering the trigger teeth etc) but as soon as I assign the sensors to wheelspeed, the voltage is pulled to zero and...

Re: Defi signal to syvecs
Could this be do with resistive temp sensors as well? I assume not?

Re: dbw module wiring
It turned out to be a simple polarity wiring issue at the throttle, basic system tracing resolved it. Serves me right for trying to compress all the wiring into a tight timeframe!

Re: dbw module wiring
ok, before I start chasing up wiring issues, I thought I should sanity check with others. the syvecs DBW module- M1 and M2 definitely go to the same motor- I have it set up like this at the moment, but whilst there is a drive signal going to the throttle, the throttle isnt moving, and the voltage at...

Re: dbw module wiring
thanks, It serves me right for blindly following the video- I have the syvecs dbw driver, and low side makes more sense.I am driving it with a spare ign, so everything should work fine now. as an aside, what is S2 on the dbw driver used for?

dbw module wiring
I appear to be having some snags with the dbw module- looking at the wiring info given on the site, I should wire up the control signal to S1 from one of the ign sources, and from the dbw help video it states the S6 should be set to half bridge mode when using the external DBW module. However when I...

Re: I/O 10 outputs.
perfect, that solves a lot of issues, and lets me get the outputs I need. just need to finalise the I/O split between the ecu and the expander, and I can finally get wiring!
