Cruise control - unable to activate due to PPS value.

Hi all, I have a GDI4 on which I have enabled cruise control (DBW, speed based control).
At steady low PPS driver values I can set / resume absolutely fine, but at at higher PPS driver values, the cruise won't set / resume, and I can see PPS HIGH on cruiseDisableCause.
In the example attached, PPS final is only 22.9% at the time of a resume (button C) request, but the request is denied due to the PPS value.
I can't find an absolute max PPS driver / final value that disables cruise control, but I can see PPS stability (max value) and Maximum Driver Pedal Input (set at 75%).
I must be missing a setting that's denying cruise at fairly modest PPS values, but I have failed to spot it!
I'd welcome someone telling me what I've missed! Thanks!
