Some advice please

Morning all

I'm just after a little bit of advice with my latest project.

I'm currently transplanting a 2JZ from a Supra into my 350Z.

I am using a Syvecs S6 which I originally used on my previous Supra with this engine. The syvecs has a Supra harness and is connected to my custom engine harness, the rest of the engine harness is connected to my dash loom.

My original plan was to install a race tech dash but from my reading that appears to be a bit more hassle than expected. I've been told that there is a way to get the 350Z speedo, tach and fuel gauge working with my Syvecs and engine but I'm not sure of the best way to go about this? and I've not been able to find out any information about how to do this.

Any help would be appreciated

If you want to get the 350Z dash to work then you'll need to send it the information it expects to receive - in essence treat the project as if it was a 350Z and install the 350Z CAN bridge so that the S6 can send the dash related information to the dash. The rest of the wiring would be as you already mentioned - 2JZ wiring for a 2JZ motor. Whether this is any easier than going with a race dash is debatable
