Karl,

In a word, YES :D

There are at least two interfaces on the ECU that can be used, an RS232 and one (or two) CAN interface(s).
In the configuration you can choose which telemetry protocol to send and where to send it. Anything that
has "CAN" after it goes down the CAN bus, otherwise it goes down the RS232.

At present the only functional combination is selecting a Stack stream on the Solaris, and selecting
Pectel T2/T6 on the MXL dash, this will work over RS232 and most parameters work fine, however
the MXL dash incorrectly detects the ECU Vehicle Speed data and displays speed*10, ie at 50km/h it
will display 500km/h. This is a bug in the MXL not the Solaris, even when connected to a Pectel T6
the speed display is incorrect. The "fix" for this is for now is to route a vehicle speed signal direct
to the MXL and configure it to use that.

AIM are looking at the "Custom CAN" protocol at the moment, and there is a fair chance that they'll
implement it, but ultimately it's down to them to decide. If / when they do, it should fix the speed
issue as well as open the door for many more parameters.

Hope this helps,

Pat.
