Engine stall on declutch

Post by davecarroll »

Hi guys

Car is nicely mapped now. Only one issue is that if i declutch and let the revs drop from anything more than around 2krpm, the engine will stall.

Makes it a complete pain in traffic on the rare occasion i use it for such things.

Which areas of the cal should i be looking at to try and get the car to catch and prevent stall?

Cheers

Idle control > Closed Loop > Enable Vehicle speed > 1

That should help.

It really depends how your idle control is setup in the first place, there is no one single item.

But anything that might reduce airflow or timing too much when rpm is above idle target would be a start. And possibly roadspeed on/off too and if indeed it is even closed loop ( although would be odd not to have that on )

So view logs or live data to see what it is doing in order to cause the stall.
