how to test DCCD

Post by jeroentje.nl »

Is there a way to test the DCCD.
If I take out the speed sensor and put on a drilling machine I can go to the DCCD calculation.

But how can I figure out if the DCCD realy working without starting the car.

If you're using the syvecs to control the DCCD you can temporarily configure the DCCD output as the throttle bypass valve (Idle valve) and set the frequency at 300hz, and use the cranking duty to send a fixed duty out to the DCCD this will load the dccd up without starting the car. You can try manually turning the rear wheels to test for DCCD lockup, or use a current probe on the DCCD output to test it electrically.

A quick way to check is to do as Pavlo says, set duty to 0 put steering on full lock and drive the car in tight circle car will go easily arround... Then set duty to 100% and try to do the same, will be very difficult to turn in the same circle.. (assuming dont have very tight preloaded front and rear diffs)

300hz is that the correct / best drive frequency?
