SYVECS branded 100 amp pwm dc controler

Post by T04GTR »

Hello, not really a feature in the ecu, but a stand-alone dc motor pwm module of decent current rating 50-100 amp. that accepts the common negative switched pwm signal.

im having problems finding a easy to configure/wire fan controller. (my fan sucks 55 amp when on flat out and 155amp inrush) w215 belt drive Mercedes fan

ps, i think i have damaged an output on my s8 (old s12) with a failed 100 amp ssr controlling the fan, the pin now has 100 ohm to ground now with it turned of :(

That must be of hell of a fan ??

What fan is it or what car is it from, and what do they use for a controller ? A lot of modern cars do use PWM fan controllers.

I know some guys use AC Delco parts from GM...but 55A ?? sounds huge, although with a soft start, there shouldnt be a huge current hit ?

i really should just get a euro 600w pwm fab module. audi/merc. the problem im having is finding the pwm frequency they use to control the thing. short of going to a car yard with a multimeter and probing the control wire when its on...

its off say a 2004 s500 merc.
