Yeah.

The fine wire was used to exhibit the thermal mass effects with regards to accuracy and response.

Hey Everyone, Good news is I can confirm that the Syvecs S8 is pretty close to the reference meter (ETI). Test consisted of 2 x production probes, set up spot on and adjusted to read similar to each other on KT1 and KT2 (video and logged), then I simply swapped out egt1 off the S8 and put it into th...

So even at a maximum...there is almost some 20% discrepancy ? I know at times I've maxed my sensors at the collectors as the ecu only seemed to go to 999 ? Or maybe that's just where it topped out on those brief occasions. I've tried to keep it a lot lower since those happened, certainly the port r...

Here is typical variance at 100 deg C (boiling water) was doing my own calibration curve for the Syvecs supplied ACT started off with ice water bath (0.1 deg C on ETI) took readings each 5 deg C all the way to steam burning point :lol: :lol: :lol: 4 x Type K (2 x fine wire and 2 x EGT probes) and 1 ...
