Re: Supra loom adapter 4 way connector
If I need to change some pins on the expander connector, I assume you sell them or are they a standard pin? No, they are not a standard pin, but I don't have any more I'm afraid. Syvecs should do though. The X10 connector is a swine to work with. When inserting pins, they often don't go all the way...

Re: Supra loom adapter 4 way connector
Ah, my bad - I didn't check the "Auto" loom adapter schedule before replying here
Standard pinout of the 4 pin connector when I made them was:
1 (Power Ground) S6 pin 44
2 (Paddle Up) X10 input 1, pin 13
3 (Vbat) S6 pin 20
4 (Paddle Down) X10 input 10, pin 22
Hope this helps.

Re: Supra loom adapter 4 way connector
That 4-way connector was not a standard connector on S6GP MkIV Supra loom connectors, so it sounds like a dealer-specific modification/enhancement perhaps? If you connect up a laptop to the ECU and run SCal you can take a look at the pin assignments and see what the paddle shift is connected to - yo...

Re: Exhaust valves won't stay closed bug
In an attempt to give some kind of possible help, even given the lack of any technical information posted here about the problem... Mention has been made of PWM control. Is it controlled, by any chance, using an H-bridge output? If so, from memory dating back to when I was playing around with DBW co...

Re: Syvecs 50Hz GPS Module
Also, this unit has a CAN0 LOW and HI, as well as a CAN1 LOW and HI. I have read that CAN just needs 2 connections, CAN low and CAN hi, to work. Since there are 2 sets of CAN low and CAN hi here, does that mean only one pair needs to be hooked up? Or do both need to be hooked up. Thanks for the hel...

Only the pins in the manual are used.

Re: need some dbw help
because it's an H bridge.....used as a pair. If one is positive, the other half of it can only be negative, and visa versa Pedantically, the drive can - and does - sometimes put positive, or negative, to both driver outputs simultaneously.... ...but, to grasp the basic operation it is 100% easier t...

That isn't a user option.

Re: need some dbw help
S6 had no bridge drivers - it was an external unit and usually drive as a low-side driver. Not sure why the video would show half-bridge unless very early S6 software had to be "tricked" in some way. S6+ and S7 (and S8 and S12) would drive the vast majority of DBW motors as full bridge. Ha...
