Re: Frequency inputs
Ah, so it is normal for the raw voltage data to drop to zero once the sensor is assigned as a frequency sensor rather than a generic 5v? That's normal :) So I just need to look at different channels when setting it up? Will give it a go. Had assumed that the voltage signal would remain alongside th...

Re: Frequency inputs
Wheel speed is not sent as a voltage; it's sent as a data value representing the frequency that's been measured by the X10.

Re: S6 Plus Current Draw
There are no high-side drives apart from the H-Bridge drivers which you may or may not be using (as H-bridge or high-side) so there is no high current draw related to the outputs. An S7I draws around 300mA just sitting there, and I would expect the S6+ to be similar: just add to that any current dra...

Re: Any possibility of Real Dash support?
Do you have S6? I'm wondering if we could activate ALS or Launch control via canbus<-realdash? All my AR inputs full and I want to add a clutch sw. :? On an S6 you can use the Syvecs extensions to the Bosch M4 protocol as follows... Thanks Tim. All my inputs are assigned. Best bet would be to try A...

Re: CAN Frame Frequency
Of course, the other factor is whether the receiving device and software can cope with that number of parameters per second, in real time, or if it will discard messages

Re: CAN Frame Frequency
In reality, pretty much a "yes, that's OK" The CANbus is at 1Mbit/s and each frame is comprised of 112 bits, carrying 4 data values (in the case of the Syvecs datastream). That gives us nearly 9000 frames per second, or an absolute maximum of around 36000 parameters per second. If you have...

Re: Toucan set up
Have replied to PMs. The serial number of the ECU will allow us to check whether its one of the ECUs with no CANbus, but RS232 would still work. If it's a poorly soldered connector (only seen it once, maybe twice; these things happen!) a visual inspection will show it. If I recall, the Impreza ECU c...

Re: Toucan set up
That version (although not what new units ship with) is known to work OK. Various possibilities: - faulty/damaged cable - mismatch between Toucan CAN datarate and S6 settings - S6 datastream not set right (attach your cal file here or send it to us direct) - Toucan cable plugged into Ethernet connec...
