Those parameters will all be available in old logs, if they are configured to be logged on your ECU.
Logging parameters are set using the SCfg software.

Commanded cam angles would be vvtInTarg and vvtExTarg, for Intake and Exhaust cams targets respectively. To view the figures in SCal whilst running, press G, then A, and search for "vvt" in the list, then add the two items above to your display. You can also add vvt1In, vvt2In, vvt1Ex and ...

Then I'd say it sounds like it's "service" time. What is the serial number, and can you recall when you purchased? Curious what the lifetime of the battery is.

I worked with an old LR F88 recently (serial 10xx), which did exactly the same. Was advised by LR there is an internal backup battery that needs replacing. Not sure if the S6 also has this.

Sorry, I see it's not as clearly stated in that link as I thought. As Stevieturbo said, logging on the ECU needs to be active before you can stream data.
