hey, i may be retarded, but i cant seem to work the cylinder trim multiplier in s cal ver 2.15.75
cant get away from cylinder 1. am i going mad?

hello all, just wondering how i would set up a "auto up shift" strategy with my s8 with full gear control. i have had a look in scal, but cant find it anywhere.

problem fixed, pdu had really old firmware, ecu had latest.. got around it in the meantime by adding a "and" to the input so ignition switch AND soft input. (thanks Ryan )

yes, i think it is around 15khz. inside the unit has alot of capacitors/inductors/diodes etc etc. 3 or 4 big mosfets. when i get it il pop it apart to see. still cant work out why my fuel pumps keep running after i turn the car car of. at 100hz it sounded like a jack hammer.. and im aware you get alot of loss the higher freq you go. wasn't heatsunk. was just dangling in the air. (as i was testing it) what is the difference internally between a cheepo one and a good one? i thought it was isolated, but but it still killed the driver...

i killed one, a 40 dollar china one, from jaycar. testing the fan pwm. it took about 1 min to fail. i tested it at 1000hz, not much happened under 70% duty. put it down to 500hz and within about 10 secs i heard the fan motor belt squeal as it went closed circuit and gave it full power. i bought anot...

how does one size the diode for the application? does it have to be rated to the same current as the load? im talking for fly-back protection for solid state relays, and my pdu. cheers :) ive killed 2 ssr's trying to pwm them to do a fan.... i have read they need a "diode" if connected to ...
