Re: 996 turbo fuel map??

I will look at what pins the torque limit can signal is supposed to go to, I’ll check that there are wires in this pins, and then the signal going to the pcm from tcm.

Re: 996 turbo fuel map??

I tried to post a pic by the forum said it was to large. The message says “ENGINE TORQUE LIMIT” in red under errors. When you clock in it to open it up, there are two sub errors that are “VOLTAGE LIMIT” and “VOLTAGE FAILURE” also in red. Must be something to do with a tcm signal or input?? I’m getti...

Re: 996 turbo fuel map??

The tuner is one of the best in the world. They are in Turkey, I’m in Milwaukee Wisconsin. Because my car was built by my own shop, and is unproven, they want to know all the bugs are worked out. There time is big money. Besides the tuning, I am not sure the Syvecs is set for the tiptronic transmiss...

Re: Engine torque limit error message??

I noticed under automatic transmission control it is set to disabled instead of enabled?? Not exactly sure what this means but if I activate enabled, the car will not start and it gives a not in sync message.

Engine torque limit error message??

Porsche 996 turbo with a plug and play set up, tip Tronic automatic. when I hook up the Syvecs, I get three little red messages: engine torque limit, voltage limit, voltage failure. The car also displays “tiptronic emergency run mode” on the dashboard. I do not get this message with the stock comput...

Re: 996 turbo fuel map??

Thanks for all the help and input guys! This week has been very busy so I haven’t had a chance to play with the car much. Next week I’m gonna start working on it again. The remote tuner will not turn the car until I make sure all the bugs are worked out. Don’t blame them!!

Re: 996 turbo fuel map??

This is a standard layout Porsche 996 turbo engine. Currently is the original PNP tune that Syvecs gives with the 996TT lug n play kit. There is only one throttle body, one injector per cylinder. We do not have a MAF on it, tried running and scaling a 3.5 bar map in place of the stock 2.5 bar but it...

Can the S7+ run a 996 turbo, but read the can signals from a 997 tcm??

I’m running a Syvecs S7+ on a Porsche 96 turbo, the wiring is exactly the same for the TCM between the 996 and 997. Being that the same system can work on a 997, can I configure my set up to read the signals from 997 TCM if I plug one into the car?? Doesn’t sound very complicated and the system shou...

996 turbo fuel map??

I’m new to the Syvecs, I need to get a highly modded 996 turbo pnp running enough to take around the block, work out any issues, and have then have it remote tuned. Anyway, The car only runs and starts if I reduce the global multiplier down to .7, As the car warms up it runs worse and worse. If I gi...
