Re: Boost pipework fault - warning/error?
Yes, I think it's a 3 bar MAP sensor - whatever is standard on an '05 JDM STi. Many thanks Paul for the suggestions for a "danger of engine death" warning based on various parameters - I'll have a play around and see what I can come up with and, in the mean time, will steepen the curve and...

Re: Boost pipework fault - warning/error?
So you want a "spanner monkey fail" error in the datastream? Pipes do come off in the real world, so I was looking to see how Syvecs "deals" with it, and whether there was anything useful Toucan could display. Said pipe has been on for at least a year without problem, and it pop...

Re: Boost pipework fault - warning/error?
I might actually have answered my own question as I now see a MAP sensor failure in the error log that I maybe missed before - says the voltage was out of range, which was a result of the overboost I then found that I hadn't configured sensor errors correctly on the CAN datastream, so Toucan should ...

Boost pipework fault - warning/error?
The other day I suddenly saw 2 bar boost peaks on a 1.6 bar map. Toucan did its job and gave a boost alarm, but when I looked at the Syvecs logs it was not immediately obvious what was up. The fault was simply that the pipe from the turbo boost pick-off to the wastegate solenoid had dropped off, and...

Re: GPS Input
Have you got a link to the CANbus EGT amplifier (or the product name)? Sounds interesting

Re: GPS Input
Just to check - I presume you know you have 1 thermocouple input on an S6 already?

Re: Flat Foot Shifting – add a clutch switch to your Syvecs
I tried to assign the same input for the launch switch and for gear cut, but the ECU won't allow it
So it needs separate inputs for separate functions unfortunately.

Re: Flat Foot Shifting – add a clutch switch to your Syvecs
Took me a while to get it sussed, and had to seek help from Pat-the-map lol.
First port of call is the "Gear Shift" section to set gearshift mode as manual; then under "Manual Shift Inputs" you find all the cut input polarity setup, etc.

Re: Flat Foot Shifting – add a clutch switch to your Syvecs
Good question - I've not tried assigning the same switch for two purposes, but I guess it could well serve both purposes. If I assign it in SCal to both gear cut and launch it shows red (an error) but I don't know what happens if you try it for real. I'll give it a try in the morning and let you kno...
