Re: Engine starting issue
Good idea - I should have a cal of the same firmware revision that I could quickly pop on there to see. Cheers.

Engine starting issue
Bit of a head scratcher this one - and probably more a general ecu calibration thing than syvecs specific: Some time back I re calibrated the linearization of my map sensor - I had an old an incorrect linearization the syvecs was reading slightly out. That meant I needed to re-work a fair bit of my ...

Re: "could not open device for streaming"
Thanks chaps - mine turned out to be related to the fact that the engine wasn't actually 'running' at the time - was trying to capture start up knock signal and include in the overall streamed log - hadn't ever had need to do this - didn't note that the steaming doesn't start until engine is actuall...

"could not open device for streaming"
Got this errror yesterday after successfully streaming data, analysing and then going back for another run. Same laptop, same SS version, same cal, same everything - also i can still download logs and read program cals etc etc. Not dug too far into this - like swapping out current laptop for my old ...

Re: KnockWarnLight - how to test
I *thought* I had - but did not see anything triggered on the knockwarnlight - logs also confirmed it didn't activate.
The swapping in pitSwitch param to the data stream did prove out the Plex warning 'works' - in theory - I'll likely revisit with knockwarnlight when i get a moment.

KnockWarnLight - how to test
Stumped on this one: I'm trying to configure KnockWarnLight to trigger the knock alarm on my Plex uSDM 102. KnockWarnLight is set to frame 14, slot 4 of the custom can content. I'm using y=(1*x)+0 to convert on the plex end. I'm seeing a value of "0" on the plex when KnockWarnLight is &quo...

Knock sensor gain tuning - best practice
Playing around with knock sensor gain tuning I began to wonder what the best practice for setting up overall gain control along with individual gain tuning - heres how I've approached it on my EJ22: - Set all cylinder individual gains to 1 - Set overall gain to get my **quietest** cylinder (cyl1) ar...

Re: More Syvecs Plex CAN struggles
Agreed - I was really more interested in having some way of seeing knock sensing was 'working' at any given moment - thinking I may in fact configure a maths channel on the plex to give me an average across all four cylinders now I've got the individual gains somewhere about right-ish.
