Re: virus error ?
Quick update : We have done testing and have been unable to replicate the issue reported to us regarding potentially suspicious behaviour and have contacted the notifying party with this information, including PCAP captures, and they have retracted their classification of the installer as potentiall...

Re: virus error ?
I have just tried to download the software and it gets flagged as a virus so gets blocked straight away. Known issue? SORT OF. As per note at the top of the download page now, we have been made aware of something possibly suspicious going on. It is likely to be a false positive, but we cannot be 10...

Re: Nissan 350z S6+
George, You are of course correct that the ECU will run the engine - the dash may not work then, but the engine will, and if the car is a manual then it will most likely drive as well (unlike, say, the GT-R, which will not). I see your point regarding the OEM ECU and the need for new wiring for the ...

Re: Nissan 350z S6+
George, I'm not sure what you're trying to achieve here. Let me explain : If you take an S6GPPlus as it comes in a GENERIC build, it will not work on a 350Z due to the CAN bus integration. You would have to buy an S6GPPlus with 350Z build, so what you may save here is the cost of a pre-fabricated an...

Re: CAN output to Plex micro SDM
Ed, The S6GPPlus has two CAN buses, one is normally a link between the S6 and the Plus boards, and the other is normally for external use. In order for information to make its way to the Plex, it would typically go through the Plus and out on the other side, at 1Mbps. This will work unless the Plus ...

Re: PWM Fuel labs Prodigy questions
Am I missing something really simple? Yes :) Low Side output duty is time spent ON, which means LOW. The duty in the fuel pump manual is most likely time spent HIGH, hence the inversion. IGN (in TTL mode) and HBR output duty (in half bridge mode) is time spent HIGH. Everything else is time spent LO...

That may well be but I can't see it in the logs that are here...dr_jones wrote:that's 'bp01Duty_BoschLSU' is it not?

Re: Bosch LSU 4.9 sensors dropping like flies
Ed, The plot thickens. Looking at the datalog from 16:46:39 we see that the LSU feedback is pegged at ZERO. That should mean there is NO drive to the heater since the cell temp is already way too high. That should be impossible since the sensor was clearly cold since it was not reading at the start ...

Re: Bosch LSU 4.9 sensors dropping like flies
Ed, the more I look at the logs the more I am concerned about sensors being damaged during or just after start. As mentioned to Ryan on the phone, a Subaru manifold is just a few centimeters short of the distance between London and Glasgow - that is before the gas gets to the turbine, which will coo...

Re: Bosch LSU 4.9 sensors dropping like flies
Ed, Apologies for the delay in looking at this - as previously explained I have a lot on my plate right now, and I am not part of the support group. I have now looked through all the logs. The first lot aren't so useful since they don't show the LSU feedback, so we can't draw any concrete conclusion...
