Re: Impreza S6 PnP - Vehicle Speed / Radar - filtering

At the track and tested. Speed seems stable with the filtering, but logging on thermister / an05 shows massive fluctuations.

See pic. At constant speed or idle the voltage is flipping from 4.98 to 0.1 for example.

Re: Impreza S6 PnP - Vehicle Speed / Radar - filtering

yup, will do. Just had another look, as I saw from another log that the speed was spiky even at idle. With the car idling and filter off - the gauge for vspeed in SCAL was showing 0-40. Changed to filter on (radar) - flashed and started up again. Let it idle for a few mins but speed showed as a stab...

Re: Impreza S6 PnP - Vehicle Speed / Radar - filtering

ta, added AN05v to logging config, and will capture some data on sat.
I've turned the filtering on for now anyway, but cannot test on the road.

Sitting at idle, on the trailer, without wheels turning - 4.95v with small fluctuations +/-0.3v

Re: Impreza S6 PnP - Vehicle Speed / Radar - filtering

map uploaded, its a 98 sti4, with an RB320 6speed dccd box.

No idea on actual wiring. Its has a speedo pickup in the box, and clocks read in kmh

Impreza S6 PnP - Vehicle Speed / Radar - filtering

Hi, For some reason I'm now getting very spikey readings (logged) for Vehicle Speed - See attached log... and this is causing some issues with my DCCD setup. I do not have the filtering on, and the upper and lower voltage thresholds are 1.25v, 3.75v. Would turning on the filtering cure this (its sim...

Re: FP TRIP - low pressure

Update: Steven (SD Motorsport) basically changed everything with the fuel system, and complete re-wire of pumps. I think it was a host of small issues combining to give the low fuel pressure at boost. Low voltage to pumps - pumps weren't wired individually, and earths had some flaky connections due ...

Re: FP TRIP - low pressure

New Pumps, + re earthed New FPR Filters ruled out Changed vac lines Rewired pumps completly Still hitting FP trip on boost. Will get it into the garage next week. Mechanically there is only the lift pumps left to change, but I cant see that being an issue. The cut happens as soon as boost is introdu...

Re: FP TRIP - low pressure

No change, still FP TRIP when significant boost is added.

New Pumps
New FPR
With/Without filter
Vac line to FPR checked - no damage

Next step re-wiring both pumps

Re: FP TRIP - low pressure

Thanks,

Will pass on info.

She gave a brief try of a few things lastnight.

new pumps earlier....
new earths to pumps
bypass filters for a short test

She ran SMON with relfp1 this morning, and it wasnt flat, and has since sourced a new FPR.

Will see whats what when I hear back.
