One thing I realised through testing is roll on rate has almost no effect, right from 0.01% to 100%.
Blip targetMult has a massive impact on how fast the blip comes in and has a large impact on smoothness of downshift.
Continuing the testing…..

Re: Sequential Paddle Downshift Blip (no clutch)
Hi, Torque reductions during blip are coming from post downshift rev limit during blip active, after down shift they are ALS settings for burble. I’ll try turn off ALS to see if it makes a difference. Blip targets are small but feel smoother with smaller targets as If I try more blip target, blips g...

Re: Sequential Paddle Downshift Blip (no clutch)
logs of downshifting from 6 to 1.
This is closed loop. No other parameters ending blip. Rev limit active on blip.

Re: Sequential Paddle Downshift Blip (no clutch)
Apologies, meant downshifts. Up shifts are great. I’ll post up logs but blips look like they are coming on at the right time.

Re: Sequential Paddle Downshift Blip (no clutch)
Setting up a GR Yaris with sequential, all is good but downshifts are very harsh at high rpm. Tried closed loop on barrel%, request ends cut like in the syvecs help video, open loop etc. its downshifts nice at low rpm but very harsh at high. Open loop with longer blip times seem best. TPs bliptarget...

Re: Tiny dash battery warning low during ignition on and start-up
I have a TinyD on my N54 plug and play and it does the same thing with voltage warning. Interestingly, I also have a TIny on my Syvecs equipped GR Yaris, and that does not do it. Both have the same firmware.

Re: LapMode
Try setting your start finish once you create the track, the going to session / beacons and tell it to use pre defined beacons. Lap mode should then work.

Re: Fuel Pressure Dip - Deutschwerks Fuel Pump - PWM Ctrl
I use a DW440 on my GR Yaris using a fan output, mapped to map1 v RPM. PWM runs at 70hz but my brushless controller is a PWM type. DW literature say low duty is low pump speed but that is not correct as I found that high duty is low pump speed (off at 100%) and max pump speed is around 4%. Works gre...

Re: Synchronous hpfp control
Hi
Curious to know how you went. My N54 still uses the async pump but I am mapping much differently to the base map and it works good now. Are you converting yours to a sync pump ?

Re: Query about close loop lambda PID control.
Hi Suggest zeroing integral gain and using a decent amount of P, but scale the gain of P accordingly. This takes Int wind up out of the equation. Limit the P gain at low load / low rpm. This allows cllfuelmult to be a good reflection of the direction your map needs to go but watch actual lambda diff...
