Cam raw not changing
Hi, I have a problem with 720 sync on an Evo 5 with a Mivec Engine. Car has an 18-1 crank trigger, the standard cam triggers and had been running ok on its first event after upgrade (albeit with low boost). Exhaust cam (phase) utilises Analogue input 06, and Mivec Cam utilises Analogue input 03. I n...

Re: Engine starting issue
Could you revert to the old map with incorrect map sensor calibration to confirm whether the IAC valve is your problem or not?

Re: Gear ratios
I must like complication...I thought working out the gear ratios was easy enough.. :D So the bit I didn't understand then, is once Tyre Circumference, Number of Teeth and Number of Teeth per input are set, I log Driveratio and use the figures logged in each gear to fill in the Gear Positon/Drive Rat...

Gear ratios
From a discussion on another thread, is inputting gear ratios in RPM/KPH not an overly complicated solution to a simple requirement? Would it not be easier and more accurate to be able to input teeth numbers so the ecu does the calculations for you? Change a diff or a drop gear and change one figure...

Re: "could not open device for streaming"
Yeah I always had this until the other day. My ecu was set to log on rally stages via a cal override switch on the dash and when I tried to stream the switch was always off.
If your issue is the same, check your logging criteria first.

Re: Anti Lag Valve
My Evo has a bypass valve in use by the ALS. Its nothing fancy in that its a simple on-off solenoid which allows around an inch bore of air to enter.
Seems to work quite well and the simplicity makes it reliable.

Closed loop wastegate control - service interval
Hi all, I'm trying to bring the boost control on my rally car away from the dark ages of open loop control and am getting my head round the closed loop options quite well, but wonder why there is no (or if there is I cannot see it) service interval table like there is for closed loop fuel control. D...

Re: Change light / Knock warning control output?
An option to add a flashing rate and hold time may be useful for combining outputs; fast flashing for knock and hold on for a second to differentiate it from rev limit (and to actually register in the brain knock has occurred as it will hopefully only be present momentarily.
