Re: Any ideas? Trying to decipher Syvecs myself!
Lambda passed! But CO and HC well above limits due to an obvious misfire so time to pill the plugs and work out the cause.

Re: Any ideas? Trying to decipher Syvecs myself!
I've looked at the linearisation curve for the lambda sensor and worked out that a subtraction of 0.035 will get my lambda to read the same as the test station - I did bring up the an11v gauge but found that it was reading 0.04 at lambda 1 on the wideband. It's back at the test station now, fingers ...

Re: Any ideas? Trying to decipher Syvecs myself!
This Pat for the excellent response, I'm going to do as you suggested to recalibrate the Wideband but while the car is at the test station and on their analyser to be sure. I agree that I need to get the car to an expert but with no MOT or TAX it's hard to get it anywhere! Once it's run in and legal...

Any ideas? Trying to decipher Syvecs myself!
Hi guys, Need a bit of help working out what's up with my engine/ECU. Basic spec, forged 2.5 with 2.0 AVCS heads, just been re-freshed with new HG and bearings which means it's running a very slightly lower compression ratio than when it was last mapped. Running from a a Syvecs S6 mapped by JGM. On ...

TPS Values
Been playing with data logging and starting to try and get my head around the Syvecs software to see if I can trouble shoot a couple of things. What values would be normal for the TPS readings, mine varies from 2.6 to 3.2 when closed (well foot off pedal) does this look like a 'normal' reading or sh...

Check Engine light
Hi guys, Had a CEL come on a couple of times on a track day at Brands Hatch last night, each time it went out after about 20-30 secs having eased off slightly, there were no other signs of an issue, the car didn't appear to have pulled any timing and all other parameters looked ok (oil water etc.) T...
Re: Wideband
Cheers Pat, Not sure if you remember the car but it's the Blue Bug you mapped for GRD on the crappy APS SR40! I've already got the Syvecs in the car running the AVCS Heads and forged 2.5. I just need a Wideband sensor and some wires then and get Simon to enable the wideband in the Ecu, I'll also mak...
